1 De-icing & Dust Control:

- Used in drilling fluids and completion fluids to increase density and control formation pressure.
4 Refrigeration & Cooling:
- Component in brine solutions for refrigeration plants.
5 Desiccant / Drying Agent:
- Used for drying gases, hydrocarbons, and air due to its high hygroscopic nature.

- Used as a firming agent, preservative, and electrolyte (under food-grade specifications).
